Former United States President Bill Clinton recently made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, where he commented on extraterrestrials and the possibility of contact. What he stated was eerily similar to what President Ronald Reagan stated in his address to the United Nations in 1987.
Reagan’s remarks were as follows:
“Perhaps we need some outside universal threat. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world.” (source)
It’s also worthy to note that, during a special screening of ET: The Extra-Terrestrial at the White House in 1982, Ronald Reagan made some interesting comments, according to Steven Spielberg:
“It was in the White House screening room, and Reagan got up to thank me for bringing the film to show him, the First Lady and all of their guests, which included some astronauts. He stood up, looked around the room and said that there are a number of people in this room who know that everything on that screen is absolutely true, and he said it without smiling.” (source #1) (source #2) (source #3)
