This hugely shocking interview is going viral once again. It shows the moment a murderer was told live on air that his victim that he had killed had been found by police.
It wasn’t until later that police discovered Stephen McDaniel had actually strangled his classmate at Mercer University law school in 2011.
When the interview took place no one ever imagined that the frizzy haired psycho student who lived next door to Lauren Giddings was her killer.
Watch the interview here:
The video shows the killer being told that police had found her body.
This could have won an oscar for his acting skills as he completely broke down live on air and said “know anyone who would want to hurt her” while on the verge of tears.
The footage made some viewers a little suspicious, they weren’t sure if his show of emotion was a genuine response to hearing such news. They thought it was just an act of desperation for a killer that was close to being exposed.
Not long after the interview was aired, police arrested McDaniel on suspicion of murder.
He later confessed to sneaking into Giddings’ room wearing a mask and gloves, after months of spying on her via webcam, and killing her.
The psychopath then put her in to the bath and went back to his own apartment before returning to dismember her body, he dumbed parts of her torso in a dumpster, and then joined a search party to look for her.
McDaniel was sentenced to life in prison for the murder.
The whole ordeal is horrific, no one can quite get their head round it, but the interview makes a fascinating watch, and gives us some sort of insight in to the mind of the murderer.
